The Community Scholarship Fund has been put in place to recognize and award area high school seniors who have given their time through non-profit and community service organizations to help make our communities a better place. The selected student(s) received a $1,000 scholarship to the post- secondary institute of their choice, and in addition UCB provides $500 to the student’s preferred non-profit, church or school organization.

On March 22, Jeana Rynestad, VP- Burlington, made a surprise visit to the DLB High School to award two of the available Our Community scholarships on behalf of the Burlington location. The recipients were Caitlyn Vogel and Arron Grandy. The students’ parents and their choice of local organization were there to join in on the surprise (Dream Catchers Baseball- Caitlyn and American Red Cross Minot – Arron)!
