Weninger Named President of UCB-Drake

United Community Bank (UCB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kurt Weninger to President of the Drake location. Weninger has been employed with UCB as a loan officer for nearly 20 years and has played a significant role in the strategic plan of the bank. As president, he will be responsible for managing operations and business development within the Drake and surrounding areas. “We are happy to have Kurt fill this role,” says Bill Kuntz, UCB President/CEO. “His banking expertise and lending knowledge are essential for UCB’s long term goal of continued growth within the area.”

Kurt is originally from Drake and is a graduate of Bismarck State College. He is an active member of the Drake community with his involvement including: current member and past chief of the Drake Volunteer Fire Department, Drake Rural Fire Protection District Board Member, President of the Drake High School Alumni Association, and NDHSAA football official of 15 years.

United Community Bank of North Dakota was founded in Leeds, ND in 1912.  It expanded to Drake and Burlington in 1994, and Minot in 1996.  The bank has approximately $358 million in assets.
